I think that Slow or Very Slow Preset will create even smaller file and RF 20 is enough for picture quality. I have just used Medium Preset with RF 20 via HandBreak. I will test it with PowerDVD 16 Trial version, how it's played. mkv 1:1 is 19.4GB (1920x1080 video without quality loss + audio HD), after x265 file is 4.4GB. mkv 1:1 copy by MakeMKV and then with HandBreak I have encoded it to HEVC x265.
My source was my Blu-Ray movie "AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem". 80% smaller file size and I cannot see the difference in quality watching from 2.5 m from my couch. mkv x264 to x265, very nice end effect, c.a.

I would expect, that PowerDVD 16 will have advantages over free applications like MPC-HC + LAV Filters + madVR, but at the moment it hasn't.
